Two copper wires A and B length 30 m and 10 m have radii 2cm and 3cm respectively.

Compare the resistance of two wires. Which will have less resistance?​

Answer:

resistance =( rho * length)/ πr²

resistance a= ( rho * 30)/ π2²

                 =  ( rho * 30)/ 4π

resistance b =  ( rho * 20)/ π3²

                         ( rho * 20)/ 9π

Rₐ/Rb= (30/4 ) / (20/9)

Rₐ/Rb = 27/8
