two copper wires a and b length 30 m and 10 m have radii 2cm and 3cm respectively. Compare the resistance of two wires.

★ R=rho l/A

rho = resistivity

it will remain Same because both are copper wires.

now, R1 /R2 = [(rho × 30)/π×2×2]/ [(rho × 10)/π×3×3]

=> R1/R2 = (30/4)/(10/9)

=> R1/R2 =27/9
