Area of park= 700 * 300 = 210000 m2

If we take the horizontal road as road 1, its breadth is 10 m and length is 700 m.

So its area = 10 * 700 = 7000 m2

If we take the vertical road as road 2, its breadth is 10 m and length is 300 m.

So its area = 10 * 300 = 3000m2

Again, there is a small square at the centre caused by the intersection of the roads. The length of its side is 10 m.

So, its area = 10 * 10 = 100 m2

Now, total area of road = area of road 1 + area of road 2 - area of the small square at the centre.

= 7000 + 3000 - 100

= 10000 - 100

= 9900 m2

Since 10000 m2 = 1 hectare

=> 1 m2 = 1/10000 hectare

So, 9900 m2 = 9900/10000 = 0.99 hectare

So, the total area of roads is 0.99 hectare

Again, the area of park excluding crossroads = area of park - area of roads

= 210000 - 9900

= 200100 m2

Since 10000 m2 = 1 hectare

=> 1 m2 = 1/10000 hectare

So, 200100 m2 = 200100/10000 = 20.01 hectare

Hence, the area of park excluding crossroads = 20.01 hectare
