See attachment.

The 2 cross roads cut the park into 4 equal smaller rectangle parks.

Find the dimension of 1 smaller park:

Length = (70 - 5) ÷ 2 = 32.5 m

Breadth = (50 - 5) ÷ 2 = 22.5 m

Find the area of one smaller park:

Area = Length x Breadth

Area = 32.5 x 22.5 = 731.25 m²

Find the area of 4 of the smaller parks:

Area of 1 park = 731.25 m²

Area of 4 parks = 731.25 x 4 = 2925 m²

Answer: The area of the remaining park is 2925 m²
