the Curved surface area of the 1st cube =4a^2
=4×15^2
=4×225
=900 cm^2
CSA of 2nd cube =900 cm^2
the area of the two side pane will be 2a^2
=2×15^2
=2×225
=450
therefore,the total area will be
=900+900+450
=2250 cm^2

supriya7480: Sorry it is not cube it's cuboid
Basudev111: the whole structure formed is out of acube only thus we have to find the CSA of the cube
Basudev111: u can also find it by addling the sides and finding as Total surface area of the cubood
supriya7480: Yes your answer is right thank you
Basudev111: welcome
Wimpybrain: The cuboid doesn't have any curved surfaces.
Basudev111: yes it have but it will not give u the correct answer
Wimpybrain: Lateral surface is more appropriate.
Basudev111: is u are rights
Basudev111: its just ur wish to call it

The cubes are joined. So,
l=30 cm
b=15cm
h=15cm
surface \: area \: of \: a \: cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)
=2(15×30+15×15+30×15) cm^2
=2250 cm^2.

supriya7480: Sorry but can you tell me from where you bring 30
Basudev111: the unit is wrong it will be cm^2
Wimpybrain: The cubes are joined. So l=15+15 cm
Wimpybrain: That's a minor error. I'm sorry.
supriya7480: Ohhh thanks for explaining now I understood thanks
