Length of resulting cuboid, I = 2(4) = 8 cm

Breadth of resulting cuboid, b = 4 cm

Height of resulting cuboid, h = 4 cm

Surface area of resulting cuboid

= 2(lb + bh +hl) = 2 [8(4) + 4(4) + 4(8)]

= 2 (32 + 16 + 32) = 2 (80) = 160 cm2

Answer:

{ \huge\fbox \pink {♥}\fbox \blue {A} \fbox\purple {N} \fbox \green{S} \fbox \red {W} \fbox \orange {E} \fbox{R} \fbox \gray{♥}}

two cubes are joined end to end

means

breadth=4cm no change

height=4cm. no change

but

length= 4cm + 4cm 8cm

put all the values in the formulae

AREA OF CUBOID = 2(L×B+B×H+HxL)

AREA OF CUBOID = 2(8x4+4x4+4x8) AREA OF CUBOID = 2(80)

AREA OF CUBOID = 160cm^2
