 \sf \huge{Given:-}

 \sf \: side \: of \: cube \:  = 8cm

 \sf\huge {Find:-}

 \sf \: volume \: of \: resulting \: cuboid

 \sf \huge{Solution:-}

Two cubs with edge length 8 cm are joined

new length = 2 (8 cm) = 16 cm

new breadth = 8 cm

new height = 8 cm

Volume of cuboid l+b+h=[16×8×8]

=1024cm3

 \sf \huge{Important\:Formula:-}

  • ❀ Total surface area of a cuboid = 2 [( l × b ) + ( l× h ) + ( b× h )]

  • ❀ Lateral surface area of a cuboid = 2(l+b)h
