Dimensions of resulting cuboid arelength = (8 + 8 ) cm = 16cm
breadth = 8 cm
height = 8 cm

so,
Surface area of cuboid = 2 (lb + bh + hl) = 2 (16*8 + 8*8 + 8*16) = 2 (128 + 64 + 128)
= 2* 320= 640
Hence surface area of resulting cuboid is 640 cm2.

In a cuboid length =16, breadth =8, height =8 surface area = 2(16x8+8x8+8x16) =2x320 = 640cm
