ANSWER:

volume of cube =27 cm^3

side of cube = 3√27= 3cm

side of other cube =3cm

as the volume is same

And when both the cubes will be joined then a cuboid will be formed of length=6cm, height=3cm, width=3cm.

Total surface area of cuboid =2(lb+bh+hl)

=2(6×3+3×3+3×6)

=2(18+9+18)

=2(45)=90cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

side of the cube = cube root of 27 = 3 cm

now the length of the resulting cuboid = 3 + 3

= 6 cm

breadth = 3 cm

Height = 3 cm

surface area of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl)

= 2( 6×3 + 3×3 + 3×6)

= 2 ( 18 + 9 + 18 )

= 2 ( 45)

= 90 cm ^ 2

ANS . Therefore the surface area of the resulting cuboid will be 90 cm^ 2
