volume of cube given 64 cm^3
therefore length of one side is cube root of 64 ie; 4.
Now the resulting cuboid has dimensions as follows
l=4×2=8,b=4,h=4.
now surface area of cuboid is
SA=2(lb+bh+lh).now insert the values of the l,b,h.
on solving u will get 160cm sq.
Hope u got that .

Answer: 160cm².

Step by step explanation:

Given,

Volume of both cubes = 64cm³

Volume of one cube =a^3

⇒ 64 = a³

⇒ (4) = a³

⇒ a=4

We know that, when two cubes are joined they form cuboid:

Length of cuboid=4+4= 8cm

Breadth of cuboid= 4cm

Height of cuboid= 4cm

Surface area of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+lh)

2(8×4+4×4+4×8)

= 2(32+16+32)

= 2(80)

= 160cm²

Therefore, Surface area of Cuboid is 160 cm².
