A cube of 64 cc would have each edge of 4 cm. If two cubes are joined face to face the resulting cuboid would of size 4cm x 4cm x 8cm, The resulting surface area would be 2(4x4) +4(4*8) = 2*16 + 4*32 = 32*5 = 160 sq cm.
