Clearly when 12 cm cubes are joined each other then a cuboid will be form of
length = 12+12 cm => 24 cm
breadth = 12 cm
height = 12 cm

T.S.A of a cuboid = 2(LB +BH +LH)
T.S.A = 2(24×12 + 12×12 +12×24)
T.S.A = 2(288 + 144 + 288)
T.S.A = 2(720)
T.S.A = 1440 cm^2
