Answer: The answer is 360 cm Sq.

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of the cuboid formed=(6+6)=12cm

Base= 6cm,Height= 6 cm

Surface Area Of Cuboid = 2(lb+bh+lh)= 2 [(12×6)+(6×6)+(6×12)]

= 360cm square.

Given---> Two cubes of edge 6cm are joined end to end.

To find ---> Surface area of resulting shape.

Solution---->ATQ, two cubes are joined together , when two cubes are joined together then resulting shape is cuboid.

Length of resulting cuboid = 6 + 6

= 12 cm

Breadth of resulting cuboid = 6 cm

Height of resulting cuboid = 6 cm

We know that surface area of resulting cuboid

= 2 ( l b + bh + lh )

= 2 ( 12 × 6 + 6 × 6 + 12 × 6 )

= 2 ( 72 + 36 + 72 )

= 2 ( 180 )

= 360 cm²

Additional identities---->

1) Volume of cube = edge³

2) Lateral surface area of cube = 4 edge²

3) Total surface area of cube = 6 edge²

4) Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

5) Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2 ( l + b ) × h
