Answer:

\huge{\sf{490}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Lenth of the cube = 7cm

Surface area of a single cube = 6 × a²

But why do we write 6a²? because there's 6 sides in a cube.

You know that area of a square is a² and ina cube there's 6 sides so area of a cube will be 6a².

But in this question, we are gonna join two cubes together, so each cube will have only 5 sides visible, so we will modify the fomula to 5a².

Putting the values,

5 × 7² = 5 × 49 = 245

But we know that there's one more cube, so we will double it.

245 × 2 = 490
