PROPERTIES OF NEW CUBE.

Length = (3+3) cm = 6cm

Breadth = 3cm

Height = 3cm

Now

We know that VOLUME of cuboid = l*b*h

Therefore,

V = (6*3*3) cm^3

= 54cm^3

SO, VOLUME= 54 CM^3.

The dimension of the resulting cuboid is 6 cm x 3 cm x 3 cm

Solution:

Given that,

Two cubes of dimensions 3 cm into 3 cm into 3 cm are placed side by side

To find: dimension of the resulting cuboid

When two cubes are placed together,

⇒ length doubles

⇒ Remaining dimensions remains same

The side of cube is 3 cm

The resultant length of cuboid is 3 + 3 = 6 cm

The breadth of cuboid is 3 cm

The height of cuboid is 3 cm

Thus the dimension of the resulting cuboid is 6 cm x 3 cm x 3 cm
