Answer:

1210 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the edge-length of each cube be 'a'.

 Volume = edge³ = a³ = 1331

            ⇒ a = 11 cm

When these are joined end-to-end, a cuboid is formed of

length = 11 + 11 = 22 cm

breadth(no change) = 11 cm

height(no change) = 11 cm

      ∴ TSA = 2(lb + bh + hl)

  TSA = 2(22*11 + 11*11 + 11*22)

          = 1210 cm²

Given :-

Two cubes of volume 1331cm³ joined together

To Find :-

TSA

Solution :-

We know that

Volume = edge³

∛1331 = edge

11 = edge

Now

Length of joined cubes = 11 + 11 = 22 cm

Breadth = 11 cm

Height = 11 cm

TSA = 2(lb + bh + lh)

TSA = 2(22 × 11 + 11 × 11 + 22 × 11)

TSA = 2(242 + 121 + 242)

TSA = 2(605)

TSA = 1210 cm³\\
