If two cubes are joined end to end then resulting shape is cuboid
So, Dimensions of resulting shape
- Length = 6 + 6 = 12cm
- Breadth = 6cm
- Height = 6cm
Lateral surface area of cuboid
= 2 ( length + breadth ) × height
= 2 ( 12 + 6 ) × 6
= 2 × 18 × 6
= 12 × 18
= 216cm²
Required area of cuboid = 216cm²
