Two cyclists are riding along a circular path. The first cyclist completes
a round in 12 minutes, while the second cyclist completes a round in 18
minutes. If both of them started from the same place at the same time and
ride in the same direction, after how many minutes will they meet again at

Answer:

after 36 Mins they meet again at starting point

Step-by-step explanation:

The first cyclist completes  a round in 12 minutes

The second cyclist completes a round in 18  minutes.

to fins the time they meet again at  the starting point

we need to find LCM ( Least common Multiplier) of given times

12 = 2 * 2 * 3

18 = 2 * 3 * 3

LCM = 2 * 2 * 3 * 3

= 36

after 36 Mins they meet again at starting point

      Cyclist 1         Cyclist 2

        12                   18

        24                 36

        36                54

after 36 mins cyclist 1 complete 3 rounds & cyclist 2 complete 2 rounds.
