Answer:

Total weight of recasted sphere is 1kg+7kg=8kg

Radius of the small metal 'r'=3 cm.

Hence, density of the metal

1kg /4/3\pir^{3}

3/4×\pi×27

=> 1/36 kg/cm^{3}

Let the radius of the recasted metal be 'R'

8= 1/36 kg/cm^{3}  ×4/3\pir^{3}

=> R^{3}  =216

=> R=6 cm

Diameter of the big sphere = 2r

=> 2 ×6

=> Diameter of the big sphere = 12 cm
