Two cylinders have equal volumes, radii are in the ratio 2:3. find the ratio of their height.​

Two cylinders have equal volumes.

Radii are in the ratio 2 : 3.

As we know that,

Formula of :

Volume of a cylinder : πr²h.

Using this formula in the equation, we get.

⇒ πr²h = πr²H.

⇒ r²h = r²H.

⇒ (2r)²h = (3r)²H.

⇒ 4r²h = 9r²H.

⇒ 4h = 9H.

⇒ h/H = 9/4.

⇒ h : H = 9 : 4.

Ratio of their heights = 9 : 4.
