Answer:

v=r*h

v=20*18= 36

second cylinder

v=36(same as first cylinder)

36=10*h

36/10=h

3.6cm is height of second cylinder

Given :

  • Radius and height of the first cylinder is 20cm and 18 cm respectively .
  • Radius of second cylinder is 10 cm .

To Find :

  • Height of Second Cylinder .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Radius\:of\:Cylinder\:A=20\:cm}

\longmapsto\tt{Height\:of\:Cylinder\:A=18\:cm}

\longmapsto\tt{Radius\:of\:Cylinder\:B=10\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Volume\:of\:Cylinder=\pi{{r}^{2}h}}

Putting Values :

Volume of Cylinder A = Volume of Cylinder B

\longmapsto\tt{\pi\times{{r}^{2}}\times{h}=\pi\times{{r}^{2}}\times{h}}

\longmapsto\tt{{\not{\pi}}\times{20}\times{20}\times{18}={\not{\pi}}\times{10}\times{10}\times{h}}

\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{2{\not{0}}\times{2{\not{0}}}\times{18}}{1{\not{0}}\times{1{\not{0}}}}=h}

\longmapsto\tt{4\times{18}=h}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{72\:cm=h}

So , The Height of second Cylinder is 72 cm .
