Two dice are rolled is the probability of getting 1) a prime number on each dice 2)a total of 9or11 ?​

1. The outcomes of getting prime number on both dices are

(2,3) , (3,2) , (2,5) , (2,2) , (3,3) , (3,5) , (5,2) , (5,3) , (5,5)

Total = 10

P = 10/36 = 5/18

2. There are total 6 outcomes which give sum of 9 or 11

P = 6/36 = 1/6
