Total Number of Favorable Outcomes are : 6

Probability that the Product is a Prime Number is : 6/36 = 1/6

Maxcaulfield: 2 dice = 12 sides
Maxcaulfield: 12 sides = 36 outcomes
itsmeaysha: yup...thnx .
itsmeaysha: is thr any matter if i chanfe...mine..
itsmeaysha: nope..its 12 sides..
Maxcaulfield: Didn't get what u hv written
Maxcaulfield: I said its 12 sides
Maxcaulfield: When Two Unbiased Dice are thrown at the same time and the numbers appearing on the Dice are Multiplied, we can come to a conclusion that the Total number of Possible Product numbers which are noted are : 6 × 6 = 36

⇒ Total number of Possible Outcomes is 36In this Way : We can List out the Favorable Outcomes, they are :

             First Dice                  Second Dice                  Product

                   1                                 2                                     2

                   1                                 3                                     3

                   1                                 5                                     5

                   2                                1                                      2

                   3                                1                                      3

                   5                                1                                      5

So , the Total Number of Favorable Outcomes are : 6

Probability that the Product is a Prime Number is :

6/36
