Total No of event less than 9

  • (2,1)(2,2)(2,3)(2,4)
  • (3,1)(3,2)
  • (4,1)(4,2)
  • (5,1)
  • (6,1)

Now

\rightarrow\sf\:probability=\frac{toatl\:event\:occur}{Total\:outcome}

\rightarrow\sf\: probability=\frac{16}{36}

\rightarrow\sf\: probability=\frac{4}{9}
