Hey friend, Here is your answer-
Two dice are thrown simultaneously,
s = { (1 , 1) , (1,2) , (1,3) ,............ (1,6) ,
(2,1) ,............. (2,6) ,
(3,1) , ............(3,6) ,
(4,1) , ............ (4,6) ,
(5,1) ,............ (5 , 6) ,
(6,1) ,............(6,6) }
n (s) = 36
Let A be event that the sum of number on the top of faces is perfect square number.
A = { (2,2) , (3,6) , (6,3) }
n (A) = 3
P (A) = n (A) / n(S)
P (A) = 3 / 36
P (A) = 1 / 12
Hope it will help you.
