probability of getting even number is1/2
step by step
s {1,2,3,4,5,6}
n (s)=6
event A be getting even number
A={2,4,6}
n (A)=3
p (A)=n(A)/n (S)
p (A)=3/6
p (A)=1/2
this answer is wrong

avinash6953: But there is two dice
avinash6953: Not a one
neetu4496: then even number should in or both
avinash6953: Then sample space is like : S = {(1,1) , (1,2) .................,(6,6) } this.
neetu4496: PSNO 3 has written right answer
avinash6953: Ok

even numbers=2,4,6

from first dice probability=3/6=1/2

from the second dice=3/6=1/2

together=1/2*1/2=1/4
