The total no.of outcomes is 36.
the no.of outcomes in which there is a doublet is 6.
So probability is 6/36 = 1/6

favourable event = (1,1) (2,2) (3,3) (4,4) (5,5) (6,6)
total number of outcomes = 6^n = 6^2 = 36 
P(douplet) = number of favourable event/ total number of outcomes
                  = 6/36 = 1/6 ANSWER.
