Hi Mate !!


When two dice are rolled then total outcomes are 36.

•Possible outcome ( getting a double )= 6

( 1 , 1 ) ( 2 , 2 ) ( 3 , 3 ) ( 4 , 4 ) ( 5 , 5 ) ( 6 , 6 )

E = getting a doublet

P ( E ) = possible outcome/total outcomes

P ( E ) = 6/36

P ( E ) = 1/6

• Possible outcome ( getting sum of 10)=3

( 4 , 6 ) ( 5 , 5 ) ( 6 , 4 )

E = Getting sum of 10

P ( E ) = 3/36

P ( E ) = 1/12
