LADHAK
1)Ladhak is a cold desert located in India at leeward side of Himalaya. Dry and cold winds blow over the valley resulting in winter temperature below minus 20 degree Celsius to minus 30 degree Celsius. as rainfall is almost negligible 7 to 10 cm.
2) only thorn bushes grow in those parts and even they are scattered large scale. afforestation of willow and Apricot trees along seasonal stream is gradually increasing rainfall here. tree plantation has also checked soil erosion.
SAHARA
1) the climate is hot and dry some of the highest temperature in the world has been recorded in the absence of cloud cover the annual range of temperature is very high while summer temperature suits up to 55 degree celsius in June July August are the hottest months in winter are they go down below freezing point Delhi range of temperature is also very like these are extremely hot and nights are extremely cold.
2) annual rainfall on an average is less than 10 centimetre in some Areas where is Virtually no rainfall for many years search extreme and ask time it makes life very difficult for the people to live in Sahara.
