chlorenchyma: chlorophyll is present. it helps in photosynthesis

♦ In Aquatic plants, large air cavities are present to give buoyancy to plants to help them Float.

♦ They contain large air spaces

Examples : Hydrilla, ceratophylum, lotus, Eichhornia, vallisnaria and Potamogeton.
