Given numbers :

0 , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4

Possible two digit numbers that can be formed from these no.s :

10 , 20 , 30 , 40, 21 , 23 , 24 , 31 , 32 , 34 , 41 , 42 , 43 , 12 , 13 , 14

Total number of outcomes = 16

a) No. of favourable outcomes = 10

P(E) =

 \frac{no. \: of \: favourable \: outcomes}{total \: no. \: of \: outcomes}  \\  =  \frac{10}{16}  \\  =  \frac{5}{8}

b) No. of favourable outcomes = 5

P(E) =

 \frac{no. \: of \: favourable \: outcomes}{total \: no. \: of \: outcomes} \\  =  \frac{5}{16}
