Then according to question, B completes the same work in 2X days.

Now let us formulate this.

1/A + 1/B = 1/8 ……(Given)

1/X + 1/2X = 1/8

Taking LCM

2/2X + 1/2X = 1/8

3/2X = 1/8

2X/3 = 8

2X = 24

X = 12

So A will complete the work alone in 12 Days
