Answer:

10  N

Option c. is correct .

Explanation:

Given :

Two equal force acting at a point .

Let say P and Q are two forces .

Here  P =  Q .

Angle  ( Ф )  = 90 .

Resultant ( R ) = 14.14 N .

We know formula for Resultant :

\displaystyle{R=\sqrt{P^2+Q^2+2PQ\cos\theta}}

Putting values here :

\displaystyle{14.14=\sqrt{P^2+P^2+2P \times P \cos90}}

Since cos 90 = 0 .

Term 2 P × Q cos 90 = 0

\displaystyle{14.14=\sqrt{P^2+P^2}}\\\\\displaystyle{14.14=\sqrt{2P^2}}\\\\\displaystyle{14.14=\sqrt{2}P^{1/2\times2}}\\\\\displaystyle{14.14=1.414P}}\\\\\displaystyle{P=10 \ N}

Hence we get answer .
