Two equal forces act on an object . Is this information enough to say which way the object will move? Give reason​

no, because the two forces can be acting from opposite directions , so the object will not move

two case are perform

case 1 :

if force act opposite direction then force subtract

let f1 & f2 act on object in opposite direction

resultant for F =f2-f1

=0 because f1= f2

in this case not move

case 2:

if force act an same direction then force is added

then resultant force F =f1+f2

=2f1=2f2 because f2=f1

in case force applied in right hand side then object move left side

if force act left then object move right side
