given that these 2 equal sides are 5m less than the 3rd side.

so the 3rd side is a + 5

and also given that the perimeter of triangle = 55m

=> 2a + b = 55

2a + a + 5 = 55

3a + 5 = 55

3a = 50

a = 50/3

16.6m

here sides are a , a , b

a = a =16.6m

b = 16.6 + 5

b = 21.6m
