The dimensions of triangle is 9 m, 23 m and 23 m.

Given - Relation between sides and perimeter

Find - Dimensions of triangle

Solution - Let the third side of triangle be x. So, the other two sides of triangle are (3x - 4) each.

Perimeter = sum of all sides of triangle

x + (3x - 4) + (3x - 4) = 55

7x - 8 = 55

7x = 55 + 8

7x = 63

x =  \frac{63}{7}

x = 9

Other side = 3x - 4

Other side = 3*9 - 4

Other side = 27 - 4

Other side = 23 m

Hence, the third side of triangle is 9 m and the other two sides of triangle are 23 m each.
