Answer:

Let Length of third side be x

length of two equal sides be 2x - 5

perimeter=

2x - 5 + 2 x - 5 + x = 55

5x -10 = 55

5x = 55+10

5x = 65

x = 65/5

x = 13

2x - 5 = 2*13 - 5

= 26 - 5

= 21

verification:

=2x - 5 + 2x - 5 + x

=21 + 21 + 13

= 55
