let the third side. be x m

so the two equall sides are [2x-5] m

perimeter of the triangle is 55 m

ATP

perimeter of the triangle=  [2x-5] + [2x-5] +x

55 = [2x-5] + [2x-5] +x

55 = 5x -10

45 =5x

9 m = x   Third side ANS

equall sides are [2x-5] =2*9 -5 = 13 m ANS
