Let the third side be a
Length of equal sides = 2a - 5
Perimeter = 2 ( 2a - 5) + a
=> 55 = 4a - 10 + a
=> 65 = 5a
=> a = 13
Third side = 13 m
Length of each equal side = 2(13) - 5 = 21 m
Length of equal sides = 2a - 5
Perimeter = 2 ( 2a - 5) + a
=> 55 = 4a - 10 + a
=> 65 = 5a
=> a = 13
Third side = 13 m
Length of each equal side = 2(13) - 5 = 21 m

let one side be x
the equal sides will be 2x - 5
perimeter = sum of all sides
x + 2x - 5 + 2x - 5 = 55
5x - 10 = 55
5x = 65
x = 13cm
2x - 5 = 26 - 5 = 21cm
hope it helps you
