Answer :-

  • Perimeter of the triangle is 55 units.

Given :-

  • Two equal sides of an iscosceles triangle are 4x-2 and 3x+4. if the third side is 2x-1,find x. Hence, find the perimeter of the triangle.

To Find :-

  • Perimeter of the triangle.

Solution :-

Here

Sides of the triangle are

  • 4x - 2 units
  • 3x + 4 units
  • 2x - 1 units

As we know that

isosceles triangle have two sides equal.

So

⇒ 4x - 2 = 3x + 4

⇒ 4x - 3x = 4 + 2

⇒ x = 4 + 2

⇒ x = 6

Put the value of x in the sides

  • 4x - 2 = 4(6) - 2 = 22
  • 3x + 4 = 3(6) + 4 = 22
  • 2x - 1 = 2(6) - 1 = 11

Perimeter of the triangle is

sum of all sides

⇒ 22 + 22 + 11

55 units

Hence, the perimeter of the triangle is 55 units.

Answer: PLEASE BRAINLIEST MY ANSWER

∴ x = 6

∴ Perimeter of the triangle = 55

Step-by-step explanation:

Q) Two equal sides of an isosceles triangle are 4x-2 and 3x+4. if the third side is 2x-1,find x. Hence, find the perimeter of the triangle

⇒ From the given condition -

Let two equal sides of an isosceles triangle be a=4x-2 and b=3x+4 and remaining third side be c=2x-1.

∴    a   =   c

∴ 4x-2 = 3x+4

∴ 4x-3x = 4+2

∴  x  =  6

now the given three sides are a, b, c -

1)  a = 4x-2 = 4×6 - 2 = 24-2 = 22

2) b = 3x+4 = 3×6 + 4 = 18+4 = 22

3) c = 2x-1 = 2×6 - 1 = 12-1 = 11

∵ the three sides are 22, 22, 11.

Now,

Perimeter of the triangle = a + b + c = 22 + 22 + 11 = 55

Perimeter of the triangle = 55
