(ii) (x-4)(2x+3)=2x² \\  {2x}^{2}  + 3x - 8x - 12 =  {2x}^{2}  \\  {2x}^{2} - 5x - 12 =  {2x}^{2}   \\ 2 {x}^{2}  - 2 {x}^{2}  - 5x = 12 \\  - 5x = 12 \\ x =  \frac{12}{ - 5}  =  \frac{ - 12}{5}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 12}{5}
