Equal sides 3x-1 and2x-2
3x-1=2x-2
x=-1
So the third side is 2x=2×-1= -2
Perimeter→ 3x-1 + 2x-2 + 2x=7x-3=-7+ -3=-10

chhabi: it's wrong
chhabi: answer is x = 3, 22 units

Answer:

x = 3 ; the perimeter of the triangle = 22

Step-by-step explanation:

since (3x-1) and (2x+2) are equal sides, then

3x-1=2x+2,

3x-2x=2+1,

x=3,

therefore

all three sides will be

1st side=3×3-1=8 unit,

2nd side=2×3+2=8 unit,

3rd side=2×3=6 unit,

hence

perimeter of the triangle=8 unit + 8 unit + 6 unit=22 unit
