Given:-
☆Two equal sides of an isosceles triangle are 2cm more than thrice the third side.
☆Perimeter of the triangle=67cm
To find:-
☆Length of the sides of the triangle
Solution:-
=>Let the third side of the triangle be x cm
=>Thus,the other two equal sides=(3x+2)cm
We know that:-
=>Perimeter of a triangle=Sum of 3 sides
Now:-
=>x + (3x+2) + (3x+2) = 67
=>x + 2(3x+2) = 67
=>x + 6x +4 = 67
=>7x = 67-3
=>7x=63
=>x=63/7
=>x=9
Thus,the sides of the triangle are:-
•9cm
•3×9+2=29cm
•3×9+2=29cm
