two equal sides of an isosceles triangle are each 2cm more than thrice the third side if perimeter is 67 cm find length its sidea

let the base be x
so according to the question
thrice the base=3x
so,
2(2+3x)+x=67
4+6x+x=67
4+7x=67
7x=63
x=9
putting the values
2+3×9=29cm
so the side=29 cm and the base is 9cm
