let the third side be x cm.
thus the other two sides will be 2+3x each
hence,
2+3x+2+3x+x=67
4+7x=67
7x=67-4
7x=63
x=63÷7
x=9
third side =x=9cm
the measure of the two sides each are 2+3x=2+3(9)=2+27=29.
thus the other two sides will be 2+3x each
hence,
2+3x+2+3x+x=67
4+7x=67
7x=67-4
7x=63
x=63÷7
x=9
third side =x=9cm
the measure of the two sides each are 2+3x=2+3(9)=2+27=29.
