Two equal sides of an isoscles triangle are each 2cm mire than thrice the third side if the perimeter of triangle is 67cm, find the lengths of its sides.

According to question

Each Equal Side = 2 + 3(third side)

∵ Each equal side = 3x + 2

Perimeter Given = 67 cm

x + (2 + 3x) + (2 + 3x) = 67                 [Perimeter = Sum of All Sides]

7x  + 4 = 67

7x = 63

x = 9

Therefore length of unequal side = 9 cm

Length of each equal side = 2 + 3x

                                             = 2 + 27

                                             = 29 cm

Hence three sides of given triangle are 9cm, 29cm and 29cm
