given perimeter = 72 m

let 3rd side be x m

then other two equal sides = 2x - 9

we know that

perimeter of triangle = sum of all sides

72 = x + 2(2x - 9)

72 = x + 4x - 18

72 + 18 = 5x

5x = 90

x = 90/5

x = 18

therefore 3rd side = 18 m

and other two equal sides = 2(18) - 9 = 36 - 9 = 27 m each
