Let the sum invested = P

time = 7 years

rates are 4% and 4.5%

Difference of interests = PTR2/100 - PTR1/100

=> 31.50 = PT/100 [R2 - R1]

=> 31.50×100 = P×7× (4.5 - 4)

=> 3150 = 3.5P

=> P = 3150/3.5 = ₹900

Each sum was ₹900

Answer:-

  • Let Me be the sum invested.
  • 7 years is the time taken.
  • 4% and 4.5% are the rates.

= MTR2/100 - MTR1/100

=31.50 = MT/100 (((R2 - R1)))

=31.50×100 =( M×7× ))((4.5 - 4))

=((3150 = 3.5P))

=(( M = 3150/3.5 = ₹900))

  • Therefore the answer is ₹900
