Two equal velocities have a resultant equal to 1×(1/2) times the value of either velocity. What is the angle between them?

Resultant velocity is given as :

R = root v1^2 + v2^2 + 2v1v2 cos theta

Given, R = 3/2v

(3/2v)^2 = v1 + v2 + 2 v1 v2 cos theta

 9/4 = (2 + 2 cos theta)

1+cos theta = 9/8

cos theta = 1/8

theta = 82.819

          = ~ 82.82

Hope this helps!
