perimeter of square = perimeter of rec. (side)^2 = l*b. (72)^2 = 80*b. 5184 = 80b. b = 5184/80 = 64.8m. now , area of square = 5184 m so, area of rectangle = l x b = 80 x 5184/80 = 5184m. hence both have equal area.
